New series: Lord, teach us to pray

Prayer is a fundamental human activity: it’s how we engage with the infinite; it’s how we commune with our God who is unseen; it’s how we feed our relationship with the risen Christ, seeking strength and guidance for living, seeking answers to our hopes and longings. And it’s also a great mystery. Jesus’ first disciples knew this, which is why they once asked him: ‘Lord, teach us to pray’. We will echo their question as we look to learn from the teachings of Jesus and the example of other figures from the Bible for how to pray.
