New Series for Autumn 2022 - Ephesians: Church United!

It feels like we’re living in an increasingly polarised world. We’re conscious of divisions culturally and politically, in terms of age and race, between rich and poor; even within church denominations there are heated debates between conservatives and progressives - and all exacerbated by social media algorithms. Into this context the Bible’s letter to the Ephesians speaks of God’s vast, overarching, cosmic plan to unite: to bring all things in creation together under Christ. How do we understand and live out the Good News of Jesus Christ in this context? Given our evident diversity and difference, what is the church’s role and calling in these times? What blessings and resources has God given to Christian believers for the task? And how can our difference, rather than being a weakness, actually be a strength?
