ReGen mug cakes

ReGen recently made chocolate mug cakes from home on Zoom! The joy of making mug cakes is that they only take 1 minute 30 seconds in the microwave! But as we waited for the mug cakes to cool, we used this as an opportunity to reflect on what it is like to wait in God’s presence and be patient…  

We read Psalm 62 and reflected on how we might rely on God when things are tough, and how we might seek him when we are feeling like things aren’t happening quick enough, or how we might like them to happen. We considered what it might be like to slow down and listen to God, and recognise that God is with us in the waiting, particularly when we might be finding things difficult.

The young people came up with some brilliant creations on their mug cakes , from marshmallow sheep to spikey hedgehogs, earth worms, and rainbow fish…here are some pictures for you to marvel at and enjoy!
